MY TOPICS: The female anatomy, and a positive take on the female personality, are central to anything that I do. Then she can go anywhere in or out of this world in pursuit of her exploits. MY MODELS: These are images (photo or drawn) of my own models. With the exception of Otherwise Void, in the mixed works, most clothing (even,as with Barbie dolls, most dresses are "put" on them), all jewelry, all hairdos and all environmental elements are mouse drawn. All models are over 18 (21 where necessary), release forms are signed and the model has been compensated. I never use stock images of any type. I have a multitude of beautiful models in my files, with over 600 photos of each. I am so Very Slow in producing pieces that it will be years before some of my models are seen. The ladies could even be grandparents by then = if I am still able to move a mouse! TECHNIQUE: If I state that it is all a digital drawing, then that means that Photoshop, Twisted Brush and many other programs were used to go from an outline (purposefully not the photo), identical in principle to a traditional artist's first sketch. This restriction is to conform to purist expectations. After the female star, all else is drawn free hand with no initial sketch or plan. For instance, that last statement describes how the ice in Hers Was The Only Frozen Ancient Found came to be. And the components of my mixed media works must always confuse their identities (each one's start or stop). Finally, I never use a Bryce, Poser or Terragen. A SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC STEPS: is that I use the new softwares to more sculpture a 2D piece than draw it = (clone, stamp, shape, reshape, digitally paint, shade and texture, then all repeated hundreds of inefficient times). I realize that I violate every standard technique. Now I can do it no other way. (see, your teacher was right = bad habits are hard to break). On the other hand, it is also impossible for me to do the "same old, same old". Of course, these are slightly more mature in presentation than are those images in the other gallery :-)
